There are so many options on the internet for website hosting that it is very difficult to know which one to choose. If you haven’t already, I suggest you read my article “What Is Hosting & Why Do I Need It” for more in-depth information on what website hosting is and what services to look for in a hosting provider. The following are some suggestions of good hosting providers. I personally use GoDaddy.com for this website and several of my other websites. There are many more options out there but these are a few that I would recommend for your WordPress website.

GoDaddy

GoDaddy is known as a leading domain registrar and web hosting solution. From inexpensive domain names, to shared/dedicated servers, GoDaddy serves individuals, small businesses and major corporations. GoDaddy has been my personal domain registrar and hosting provider for the last several years. I highly recommend them.

BlueHost

BlueHost offers a superb web hosting service and was voted best support from 2004-2008. With BlueHost you get a great number of options and services at a very affordable price from a company with an excellent reputation in the industry. BlueHost is one of the hosting providers we use at my “day job” so I can personally recommend them.

HostGator

I have never personally used HostGator however they come to me highly recommended by my colleagues. HostGator provides quality hosting for a reasonable price and their agents are really helpful. HostGator provides Shared, Reseller and Dedicated web hosting solutions. Their services are designed for both beginners and professionals.
